Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you how much I have enjoyed reading all the threads, Its great as I am the only person I know around here who likes a cigar.
I am new at forums so will try and keep it brief so as not to bore you all. My brother sent a couple of esplendidos by post after his holiday in Cuba and they arrived the day before the Monaco grand prix which I was planning to take my father in law to as his birthday treat. So I decided to take along one of the cigars as it was such a big day out. Needless to say it was a great day but I was absolutely blown away by this cigar. I had never smoked anything much uptill then apart from the ocassional cafe creme and this really was amazing. Just after was my birthday and my wife was persuaded to get me a small Humidor as a gift. Since then I have been finding out just as much as I can on the web and that is how I came upon you guys.
I have decidecd to try as many different variaties as I can so buying singles and packs of three seem best as I can only squeeze 20 into my Humidor.
I was hoping to try the Padron family reserve and My Father as I read such great reviews on them. Have any of you tried them ? Does anyone know where to find them in the UK or will I have to buy from the states. Do I have to lay them down for a while or can I try them straight away as I am a bit confused by this ageing theory and hindered by such a small Humidor.
I would appreciate any advice as I can get as I am miles away from a good cigar supplier and anyone to give advice.
If you can think of any other cigars that really should be in my Humidor then Please let me know.
Well that's it, I have run out of steam and have probably gone on far to long.
Thanks for reading to the end and for any reply's.
    Cheers,
    Corto.

Welcome aboard--great place you found, and you'll be needing a much bigger humidor if you stick around. Don't know if you've seen it yet, but this is a great spot to check out reviews of cuban cigars:

cigars, cuban cigars, cigar reviews, cigar ratings, habanos, cubans, top cigars
