Hey people ✌️
Compared to you guys I'd honestly say I'm bit of a newbie when it comes to cigars. I've had a few great ones and my fair share of terrible ones but the great ones stay with you, don't they?
On a few occasions I've been lucky enough to have friends come back from Cuba only to crack open a box and hand me one of the great ones. Over the years I've smoked a few the better known brands, Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta.
I've been and on and off social smoker since school. Cigarettes, rolling tobacco, crappy supermarket cigars and the once in a blue moon excellent cigar 💕. I knocked all smoking on the head 2 years ago when my kid was born and didn't miss most of it but a good cigar, I definitely missed 😂.
After becoming a farther my lifestyle changed a fair bit and I've begun appreciated quality over quantity. With the way I spend my down time, the kind of alcohol I drink and this led me to a conclusion: If I'm going to smoke, (which won't be often), it's got to count.
With that in mind I took plunge and ordered a couple of boxes of EP Carrillo Pledge since the reviews sounded great. Now I'm on the hunt for suitable humidor before they arrive. Now I'm knee deep in cigar aging blog posts!
Looking forward to getting to know you chaps on the forum 🤝
