Germanus have a 'B-Stock' section on their website (a little hidden I think, but its somewhere in their menus). I bought my last one there at a decent discount and pretty damn cheap, even with it delivered from Germany. Its served me well so far and no noticeable damage.

Thank you so much for such valuable information. I think having read everyone's info I will go for a humidor but firstly buy myself some bovida as I have some click tuppaware for the time being. This gives me an excuse to press the on line "Buy Cigars Now" button.

I'm sure someone has probably advised looking at a wineador. Go on ebay and pick up (within the lockdown rules of course) a wine fridge which will probably be cheaper than a wooden humidor and obviously have a larger capacity

Although I think some people do turn the wine fridge/cooler on, most people don't, so you can (like I did) buy one that doesn't even work.The important thing is that the seal works as all you're doing is getting an air-tight container which you can then regulate with, say, your Bovidar packs.

Ex-smoker here too! it's been ten years since I quit 'the habit', and although I have smoked cigars on and off for most of my life, I only came to really appreciating what the cigar gods have to offer around 3 years ago. But yes, be warned once you're enticed in the keys get thrown away. I would just echo others advice, be prepared to get storage larger than you actually need. I'm sure you will get lots of sound advice, so take your time and enjoy the journey.

My sister in law owns a hotel and she has told me she has a Wine Cooler U/S that I can have as soon as lockdown here in Wales is over.

Cigarettes are a thing of the past for me and as you said I have kicked the "Habbit." and I can understand why it is frowned upon.
I had the most amazing cigar that was bought for me at Christmas. It was a H. Upmann Magnum Connoisseur A Cigar. For the first time in my life I actually took time out to really appreciate it on my own and from that day on I cant stop thinking about cigars. So much so I ordered a few books to start learning about cigars.
Absolutely incredible reading.
Really looking forward to the adventure.
