Most of us are crazed obsessives whose sad addiction to the 'pleasures of the puro' leave us in a state of perpetual anxiety over:
    a) What we should sample next, and
    b) How are we gonna pay for it.

Run! Get out now while you still can. It's not too late to save your credit cards.

    O.K. You can't say you weren't warned.

Re: the 'Open Range', I think you'll find the 'majority' would try to steer you away from it. It wasn't their (Montecristo's) finest hour, and you'll find a 'wealth' of alternatives in the 'Review' section.

Oh yes, and. . . 'Welcome!'
    You're gonna love it here!

A very warm and friendly welcome from everyone, thanks it is very much appreciated.

I have just realised that I should have posted my ?Hello All? over on the new members section, I do apologise.

A sampler pack it is. I will have a word with my local cigar purveyor over in Bungay and see what he can put together for me using your suggestions for guidance.

      Cheers
      Rich.

            Hello and welcome.

Monte 3, 4, and 5 are good smokes.
You may also want to try Partagas Short and Trinidad Reyes.

Richgirling, another warm welcome to the forum, good to have you hear!

I'd have to second Kdot's words regarding the Montecristo no.4, a fantastic smoke in my opinion, a personal favourite, and if it's to be believed, the most popular cigar around in terms of numbers purchased/smoked, although can't remember where I read that???

Sounds like I will get on well with you all then!

Very interesting that you say credit CARDS!

Thanks for the tip on the Eagle range, think I will keep clear.

Thought as part of my introduction to you all I would put my current cigar stock list on here.

I have also put where and when I got them.

                              1 x Romeo Y Julieta Churchill Cuba 1995
                              1 x Fonseca No.5 Cuba 1995
                              1 x Davidoff Culebras France 1998
1x Monte Canario Churchill and 1 x figarado Canary islands 2003
                              1 x Vargas Canary islands 2003
                              1x Montecristo No2 Gift from Cuba 2004
                              1 x Davidoff 2000 and 1 x Padron 1964 anniversary Florida 2009
                              3 x Cohiba Robustos Andorra 2010
                              18 x Jose L. Piedra Cazadores Andorra 2010
                              10 x Partagas Mini France 2010

As you can see I tend to keep one back of everything that I have enjoyed over the years but as I said before I don?t smoke cigars very often.

                                Nice selection!
