Re: the 'Open Range', I think you'll find the 'majority' would try to steer you away from it. It wasn't their (Montecristo's) finest hour, and you'll find a 'wealth' of alternatives in the 'Review' section.

I'd have to second Kdot's words regarding the Montecristo no.4, a fantastic smoke in my opinion, a personal favourite, and if it's to be believed, the most popular cigar around in terms of numbers purchased/smoked, although can't remember where I read that???
