Hi Phatone, welcome to the forum all the way from the 'Rome of the North'.
Some good advice back up there, but the key one is...don't buy a humidor until you can afford a good one. I bought a cheap one and regretted it. Had to get another about 6 months later.
- Get a big plastic box
- Some humitubes (invest in good ones)
- Use that until you can afford the investment in a good humidor.
Hello there and welcome along, I was kindly given a 50 ct humi I am now looking to upgrade and it's only been around 12months, bigger the better as cigars breed and multiply within the humidor....well that's wat I tell the wife......
Welcome Fat 1. Great to have a nice lookin humidor But a coolerdor is a great way to keep your investment at proper range. Plus it holds 10 times the cigars ! LOL
Jumped into Waitrose at the end of Ecclesall Road for a couple of Upmanns and R&Js on Sunday when in Sheffield just now for family things.
Where can you get a good Cuban in Sheffield? Have you had a good look round?
Bye eck it's changed since I worked theer.
Hi Robusto,
I work near Waitrose when I am working at home.
In terms of buying a good Cuban well... can I name names? Oh well sod it I will and someone can tell me off if need be...
At Meadowhead there is Mitchells wines, he has the best Humidor in the area. Has all the big Cuban brands in stock and some decent Dominican and Nicaraguan. Problem is that they are very expensive, way above what the mark up should be in my opinion.
In the centre there is only 1 tobacconist left in Sheffield (so sad). Its called 'Kingsize' and it is down by the Castle Market. His range is much smaller but more reasonably priced.
