  • New from London

Hi! JP here from London - I'm new here, but have been puffing on the old stogies for a couple of years.... all I know right now is I like a nice spicy smoke with a glass of various tipples. My favorites so far are R+J, Monti 2's and various Pyramide's/robusto's/torpedo shaped objects (very much open to much future experimentation).

After getting ripped off in bars for years - I've just recently thought about getting myself a humidor and have been reading up on some choice purchases. Unfortunately I'm on a pretty tight budget so wish me luck. I'm currently hovering over a combo of a decent humidor + 25 own brand hand made bundle to start out (from cuban crafters).

Is this a good place to ask about experiences with different online tobacconists? I'm more than dubious of some of the prices I'm seeing and I've read a lot about fake cohiba's etc. floating around... I don't want to be stung whilst bargain hunting... but online, I can't very much check the box/printing etc. Any tips are welcome!

Many thanks for the warm welcome - this place is more active than I thought!

I'll definitely be poorer in the pocket once I start this thing... I've just ordered my batch of 25 J.L Salazar + humidor... but couldn't resist getting a 10 box of Partagas Serie P No.2 ... Keeping this humidor full is going to be expensive - there are too many good deals out there!
