hi guys & girls!!
obvious from the title that i'm relatively new to the world of cigar smoking.
used to absolutely hate the smell of cigars even tho i'd never smoked any myself. this all changed when i quit cigarettes, tried my first & was hooked straight away
dived straight into the deep end & ordered a cuban sampler pack from a reputable online retailer, sat back & enjoyed.
recently really enjoyed a Bolivar petit belicossos finos LE09 & a monty no2. really enjoyed the bolivar tho felt a little queesy afterwards, boy they're powerful!!! just a little more than disappointed with the monty tho, didn't draw very well, even after recutting the end not given up on trying another tho as had some really nice monties recently.
the only things that are making this new hobby harder is apart from the obvious expense of obtaining the actual cigars (the tax placed on them is extortionate!!!), is finding local retailers with-in a close distance. I live near Leicester and apart from having to travel some distance to actually visit a tobbacconist I am restricted to online retailers. They're ok but as I'm a newbie nothing beats that face 2 face interaction. Do you think most if not all retail shops will go the way of the dinosaurs eventually as I'm sure the majority of us are leaning more towards internet sites as they invariably work out a little cheaper?!
thanks for reading and once again, 'hi' to everyone & cigars rule!!! lol
