Question is, are these both decent selections, and if it was you, bearing in mind im just starting out, which selection would you go for ?

Im favouring the first myself, if I go for the second, ill have to add the nubs, as I really really want to try them

All the suggestions are to taste but from my experience


Casa Torano is and has been the Torano family?s "house blend," a cigar they made and smoked strictly for themselves. Composed of choice Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos wrapped in a golden-brown Ecuadorian-grown Connecticut shade wrapper, this Honduran beauty will get your taste buds stimulated. The extremely complex smoke features a variety of flavors: subtle spice, creamy sweetness, a peppery earthiness. Never dull. Full of flavors that satisfy the boldest of palates, yet ?soft? enough to be enjoyed for breakfast.
Don't let them tell you any differant, this is truley a great smoke for even the most seasoned cigar smoker .

They're different cigars - out of the same house, but different blends. Unfortunately, you may find it difficult to find the (Carlos Torano) Casa Torano on these shores. Easily found elsewhere, but can't say... The Casa Torano is marketed as being the blend the Torano's developed for themselves (hence the name is Torano House, essentially).

As for your previous question (which I completely missed, much like this whole thread - welcome aboard btw )... I'd go with your self-selected picks. You've had them from recommendations and some are ones you specifically want to try. That said, I'd certainly recommend the CGars selection as an interesting and varied pack. Both very good choices though.
