Mike: Neil, it is very rare you interest me, but today you have. Why do you keep coming in here, carrying a cake, and saying surprise? Neil: It's my birthday. Mike: Now you knew that anyway, and we don't care, so where's the surprise? The Young Ones
Hi & welcome, they are a very friendly bunch here, sure you'll settle in fine. Have flown over Seattle en-route to LA, were scheduled to stop but unfortunately it never happened.

Wow, serious pilot error if he missed Seattle and went straight to LA...
groan...
I have to say that I was a little disappointed by my visit to Seattle (only a teensy bit)... don't get me wrong, it was a great city, but it had been built up to be the greatest place on earth.
The locals we met were all phenomenal - possibly what made the city. Whilst out family were queueing for tickets to a Seahawks football match this guy came up to us and asked us if we needed four tickets... We looked a little awkward I suspect, being stood right next to a sign saying "don't accept tickets from touts" (or words to that effect). We said we did but that we'd probably be best getting them from the booth. He was having none of it and insisted we had the tickets off him - gratis! He wouldn't accept any money as they were debentures and he was watching the game with a mate in another part of the ground. Well, if you insist (which he did). Try as we might, we couldn't get him to accept any money - eventually we persuaded him to have a beer on us. He took us through the gates (where he knew all the staff) and even showed us to his seats (where he knew all those around)... A top, top bloke. They were awesome seats too - about 10 rows back, lower tier, on the 10 yard line (right behing the Seahawks cheerleaders ).
