while PP does not allow forthe payment of tobacco products, you can get a pre-paid credit card from PP or others, load how mmuch you need on that and use it for your orders. My Cigar blog: Cigar Review Rag

Welcome
Hi Don and welcome to the forum. The shop you need is the Bear shop in Wyndham arcade, Cardiff. It is the only proper tobacconist that I know of in Wales. There may be others but I don't know of them.
I'm new too and have been buying cigars from my local asda to tide me over till I put in an order with an online suplier. I find that the stuff you get from supermarkets and corner shops is very dry and needs to sit in a humidor for a while til it is at it's best. Even the tubed cigars are usually too dry. So I personally find a humidor essential for storage and getting a dry cigar into its optimum smoking condition. Wait till you get a fresh cigar from the Bear shop and you'll see what I mean. Don't leave it lying about or it will dry out.
I have a small 50 count humidor which is big enough for me as I too am on a small budget and don't plan to buy or store large amounts of cigars. But most people do recomend that you get something bigger, it's up to you really.I am not a ginger.

Went to lloyds in cardiff today to get a 5 stick sampler pack:
H.Upmann petite corona
Romeo y Julieta petite corona
Cohiba siglo II
Montecristo No.4
Bolivar Petite Corona
All going up in flavour from light to full, all are 5 1/8 inch long and ring gauge of 42. In total it cost ?49.50 including a guillotine. ?10 a stick is a little pricey for me but its worth it starting out i think.
So far have smoked the H.Upmann (the lightest flavour according to the guide), following the advise of the shop staff ive made notes, to me it wasnt the best 'pull', it side burnt (possibly due to my lighting skills) and wasnt strong enough for my taste so a 6/10.
Tommorow or maybe later i'l give the romeo a tasting, hopefully it will suit me more than the h.upmann :P
