PS. Are you a French-Canadian in Montreal, or an Anglophone? I'm looking at McGill Univiersity for post-graduate study. I love the look of Montreal, but have never visited (despite spending a lot of time in the land of maple syrup).
I'm a first generation Italian-Canadian, who speaks Italian, English, French and some Spanish. I was schooled in the English.school system. Montreal is beautiful and seems to keep the most European aspect of its culture. You will enjoy Montreal, except for itsextremely expensive Habanos.
