hello all,
i just realized i've been posting on this forum for a week now and i haven't properly introduced myself here.......how rude of me! lol!
hello all, my name is alex, and i've only been smoking cigars for about a year now, previous to this i was a non smoker! i only smoke cuban cigars, romeo y julieta, montecristo, bolivar, partagas, cohiba or hoyo de monterrey! i can't remember for sure how or why i started, guess it's maybe because it looks to luxurious and refined compared to cigarette smoking (which i detest), plus i think i needed a new vice! i think jack nicholson has a nice view on it:
"You know, there were a lot of things about the Victorian era that I liked--not that I was around then. The men would excuse themselves from the dining table after dinner and go into another room to smoke and drink brandy, to get away from the girls who objected to cigars. That kind of suggests a life to me that seems nice--and civilized."
i also agree with this guy:
anyway, i look forward to conversing with you all in the near future!
all the best,
alex thompson, belfast
fav cigars:
cohiba maduro secretos, robustos, siglo I, II, III, VI
partagas serie d no. 4, shorts, tres petite corona
montecristo no. 2, 3, 4, 5, petite edmundo
romeo y julieta tubos no. 2, mille fleurs, short churchills
bolivar tubos no. 2
Hoyo de Monterrey epicure no. 2, petite robusto
