I have a quick question for you.. I've ordered the Boveda 65% 60 gram pack and a 2ltr tupperware....is the fact that the tupperware isn't bigger going to be a problem?

It?ll be fine. A full humidor holds humidity far better than an empty one though....

Only a few small cigars for now. If things get serious I'll invest in something a bit bigger.

I was a little more concerned about it becoming too humid due to the lack of space. I guess the Boveda does a good job even in smaller spaces.

I wouldn?t get too focused on thinking you need an actual humidor other than looking nice there?s no real advantage over Tupperware and a decent humi buys a fair few smokes!

That's a good point. I think I'll get a bigger Tupperware and try more smokes instead.

Haha yes, I've been reading some of the stories on here with people starting with a desktop humidor and a few pages later they've progressed to buying 2/3 monster humidors [emoji23][emoji1303]

Completely agree. A Boveda and a tupperware box is pretty bomb proof. I don't even bother with a hygrometer in some of mine

Yeah, if nothing else a thermometer, but again really not a necessity if the tup & Boveda is stored in the right spot.

Boveda Butler is quite nice, does two jobs and nice to check via app.
Downside is price.

I use different hygrometers to get confused by all the different readings and have to look at the adjustment numbers.

Different hygrometers will have different variances at different RH, example one might show:
71% at 70%RH
68% at 65%RH
61% at 62%RH

Bung a 65% in a sealed lock n lock and forget about it (apart from maybe temp variations...)
