Buy a sampler and a lockable Tupperware box with a boveda pack, if you only plan to some 4 per year. No point investing in a large humidor, when you can get an 8-10 cigar sampler which will last a few years and give you a good variety of smokes to try.

Welcome aboard. Still reckon by this time next year you will have smoked more than four!

thanks for that. That looks quite good. However 5 a month is quite excessive ...at least for now. It'll take me 12 years to complete a year's worth of subscription!!! Could do 3 months worth potentially

Did see the Cuban samplers though, confused as to which one to get unfortunately!!! Need to have a proper look

4 a year is more cause of the ball and chain....the usual health concerns. Cycle a bit and definitely felt out of breath when I cycled a few days after smoking....not to mention I couldn't taste anything for a few days..that was very concerning...I do like my food.

Good to know that I'm not the only one in terms of starting this journey as a non smoker

Maybe I'm just convincing myself but a smoke every week or two can't really be doing any harm!

Surprised by the out of breath after a smoke, I'm a heavy gym goer and can't say I've ever noticed it. Suspect you'll adjust to tasting after a smoke pretty fast too, a few of my mates that are into craft beers have started smoking since realising how much they can improve a drink

Yeah I was surprised by the out of breath comment. You do know your not supposed to inhale...

I had a major cardio sess last night and lived [emoji16]

1.5k row, 100 double unders, 800m run, 100 du's, 1040m row. Timed out finishing the final row at 25mins. My double unders are sh!t otherwise I'd have finished! For me that's not bad!
                    .--
I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Be careful - I did not plan on smoking 4/5 a week or so, but here we are.
                      Stay smoky

Think it'll probably go away after a few more cigars and me getting used to it.

It did feel like I wasn't able to breathe as I normally do, felt like there was something restricting my usual breath/amount of air intake. (I know this does sound ridiculous....just sharing my experience that's all)

I did by mistake while I was trying to light it as I was drawing it on the flame.....that was bad.

Not a good place to be with a flamed long matchstick nearly running out in one hand, a lit cigar in the other surrounded by wooden furniture.......

Welcome onboard Jack. Suggest one a month is a reasonable place to start. You'll soon find you smoke a few more in the summer & a few less in the winter.
