What have you tried so far?

About 5 years ago I went on a Caribbean cruise, decided to try a Monte Cristo as it was the only brand I had heard of. Not sure which Monte Cristo it was but from the reading I?ve done it was probably a No.4 as I asked for some guidance from the guy working there.

Last week when away for business I had some time to kill and ended up in a very nice place in Derby where I had a Cohiba Robusto.

As you can see not a lot of experience so far, I think Robustos are the size I?m going to sample first as time wise I think these will suit me. Feel free to fire some suggestions at me.

I think you are right to select a size first then try the various brands, Robusto is a good place to start as most of the brands have one or similar. Try to get an idea of which brand you favour then start experimenting with the different sizes of you favourite brands.

Thank you for the advice. I?m thinking of ordering a Trinidad Coloniales, Romeo y Juliet short Churchill and maybe a Monte Cristo No.4 as my first sample.

Are we allowed to discuss UK based websites here to order from? Are there any which are recommended?
