Hi,
New to the hobby after deciding to quit cigarettes (albeit for vaping instead), but decided I'd still like to put something in my mouth and set it on fire once in a while...
After trying to find sensible sized/priced vintage humidors, eventually just settled on a Germanus glass top 30 count from Amazon, just for a cheap first humidor. After a couple of weeks it seems to be holding humidity well so far.
It's currently holding various budget cigars purchased online to get me started, along with a couple of RyJ's and Montecristo's I got from a private sale.
I look forward to getting plenty of ideas/info/advice from this forum, although right now I'm having to try really hard not to purchase every sampler/cigar I fancy. I'm attempting to do this on some sort of a budget, whilst procuring some of the more 'fine' cigars for special occasions.
I've got plenty of questions, but will try to drip feed them into their appropriate forums as and when.
Glad to be a member.
Alex
