Hi to all,
Just a brief post to introduce myself:
My name is Alan. I live near to Bath and I work all around the M4 corridor and occasionally into London. I run my own IT Consulting business. I have smoked cigars on and off for many years now, since my early thirties. But in fact, up until a few months ago I probably hadn't smoked a cigar for over 4 years. After losing my mother earlier this year, ( she had such a poor quality of life in her final year) and since her passing, I now have the outlook that life is meant to be lived and enjoyed - savour the moments. So I have started on my journey - cigar collecting - oh yes and smoking them....
I like smoking both Cuban and non-Cuban cigars probably in equal measure. It started as once in a blue moon, then every couple of weeks - then sometimes weekly........I can see my restraint and resolve to only occasionally smoke a cigar dissipating, just like smoke disappears in the air.
As currently an occasional smoker, I lean towards Robustos, depending on how much time I have on my hands. I have tried longer cigars, but never seem to have time to complete one in a session which seems a waste to me. Current favourite tastes include R&J Short Churchills, Partagas D No4, Cohiba Robusto, Alec Bradley Prensado, Arturo Fuentes, & Trinidad Reyes
Wishing you all a pleasant day!
