Welcome to the forum.. Good advice on the humidors etc. On the subtleties of taste - there's a lot of BS all that; take it with a pinch of salt and just find what you like. For Cuban beginners I'd suggest Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto, H Upmann Half Corona and Trinidad Reyes, all which have served many of us well as newbies.

            Welcome buddy,

I am a newbie also,I was going to jump in straight away and buy a humidor but was told about a ?Tupperdore ?
Basically a lock n lock tub with a Boveda pack inside and away you go.
Talks all the hassle out of the humidor set up when being new,
So I could spend the money on more sticks and get sampling [emoji106]

On my journey I have liked the following,

            H upmann half Corona,
            Trinidad Reyes
            San Cristobal El Principe
Ramon Allones Small Club Corona (RASCC)

              Welcome on board.

Guys on here have tons of knowledge.

When you chose a humi buy the biggest one you can afford....it will easily be filled.

Welcome to the forum. I'd definitely recommend the Trinidad Reyes for someone who is new to cigars. If I were you I'd forget the humidor and buy a Lock and Lock Tupperware box with some Boveda packs for now. Spend the cash on a decent range of smokes and find out what tickles your fancy. A many of us on here discovered you'll buy a humidor and a couple of months later realise it's way too small!!!

Well I’ve took the leap and ordered a humidor and some Boveda packs.

If if it doesn’t work out I’ll try the tupperdor approach until I can get the humidor steady.

Definitley going to try the Trinidad Reyes cigars they’ve got some great reviews online!

Remember to look for sticks with some age on them - one year of more - if at all possible. You?ll be glad you did.

Welcome to the forum, looks like the guys have given you some really good advice. Looking forward to seeing your humidor and more importantly what you fill it with.
