Hi,
Well the 1st proper cigar I tried, like I said I was introduced by my friend,he gave me a few Tubos, one being the H.Upmann Coronas Junior that I really enjoyed and have bought a few myself since,he also gave me a RyJ no3 tubos that I am yet to try,
I sampled a Montecristo open regatta last week and again enjoyed that with a glass of cider,I have ordered a few that arrived today that one I am looking forward to trying is the El Rey del Mundo choix supreme,
there are a few others I have but without looking I can?t remember,
but hopefully I am going the correct route and just researching certain smokes to see if there to my taste and going from there, but would appreciate any guidance if you guys/gals have any.
Thanks Ian.

Little tip stocko when your ready to buy a humidor for your cigars always get a bigger one than you need
we all make the same mistake even me by getting one that holds 25 to 50 cigars depending on the size of cigars
and before we know it it's full.

Welcome to the forum. On the storage question I personally think that a 50 to 75 count desktop is the way to go and then something like an old wine fridge or a scubador for longer term storage of boxes, if you get into the hobby. If you stay active on the forum your acquisition rate will soon far exceed your consumption rate!
On that note I will wish you a Happy Christmas!
