  • Good evening - newby here

Ok so I have been directed here to say hi to you all.
New to the forum and newish to cigars. Bought a few different ones over the last few years but still searching for those must have daily defaults.
Got through a box of Oliva series G and had a mixed experience with them. Some nice, some horrid and some poorly constructed.
I liked the series v so thought I'd give the slightly cheaper ones a go.
Any recommendations for a high flavour sweetish stick to last me my 1 hour car journeys?
Looking forward to getting to know other enthusiastic members and experiencing news smokes.

Welcome. As a relative newbie myself I can't offer any suggestions, but I'm sure other people will have some suggestions.

                      Hello and welcome mate!

Not sure what you'd regard as sweet, but one of my go-to sticks is a Montecristo No. 4, which always have lovely chocolate notes to them. Around 45 minutes smoking time for me

Welcome to the club! If you have a preference for slightly sweet flavours I'd try a Don Tomas Rothschild, should fit the bill. Not got a particularly good palette but this was a very enjoyable smoke especially for the price

                            Thanks
I've tried the Don Thomas Rothchild but didn't do much for me.
Acid Atom was nice once the sweetened tip had subsided some what. Didn't like any of their other sweetened offerings. Undercrown was nice but too expensive for an every day.
Not tried a MC no 4 but found the no 2 a bit uninteresting.
Looking at Fonseca for a light daily or Alec Bradley punk or Charatan corona none I've tried before.

                              6 cafe cremes perhaps?
Seriously though, I'd give the Petit Quintero a go.
