Welcome aboard! What a collection you seem to have amassed already; certainly makes me consider moving to poole to give you a helping hand

I guess if there's not much of a cigar scene down there at the moment leave you with the golden opportunity to start a cigar scene - no doubt with your knowledge and clear love of herfing would make you a fine founding father!

Welcome to the forum! I know what I like and I like what I see, great selection. Similar problems myself with connecting to more local cigar fiends but I'm sure we'll get there. In the mean time we always have the message boards.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I appreciate ths complements on my "Emergency Rations". I have not had much of a chance to smoke many in my few months here. You guys seem to have very Draconian smoking laws, Wow...I've even been asked not to smoke Cigars in some outdoor seating areas of Pubs because it "Stinks". In my search for Apartments every one I've looked at is no smoking, their standard answer is always the same "You can always go outside to smoke". Trying to explain to them that standing outside in the rain or wind for an hour is no way to enjoy a Cigar brings glazed over eyes and a shrug of the shoulders. Some even get offended when I tell them I'm not intrested because of the no smoking policy. Things are a lot more relaxed in Switzerland, Austria and Germany where I usually hung out. Oh well, patience and perseverance win the day...

When I get up to London I'll post a note in the Forum and maybe a couple of us can get together for a smoke. I sorely miss hanging out with fellow BOTL's smoking a few and enjoying a few Rums and Wiskeys.
