Afternoon All,
I am a fairly new to cigars person, I have in the past had the odd cigar no idea what there were, had a few villiger exports as well.
I currently live in Teddington and my work used to be based in the same place and every day walking home from work I'd go past Hava Havana - London's Casa Del Habano and take a good deep sniff every day, going in for a look round every now and then.
Recently I decided cigars was something I wanted to get into and learn more about so am really looking forward to being part of the forum and reading lots and hopefully contributing eventually.
So far my cuban experience from Casa del Habano Teddington is the below: (id highly recommend the shop if you are in the area)
- R&J in a cedar wrapper - but not a cedros I don't think, I think it was some sort of anniversary stick - either way was great and really enjoyed that
- Flor Del Cano - 2013 Uk Ltd Edition - was ok but I lit it badly so will have to try this again lighting it properly as I think this effected the taste
- El Rey Del Mundo - Choix Supreme - Loved this, bar far my favourite stick so far, though the draw was pretty poor!
I have a Por Laranga that I am yet to smoke, but looks and smells nice
I am sure there are many but are there some recommendations for the stepping up from these lighter cigars to more medium cigars? I am would like to try some New World stuff as a comparison, I have heard and read nothing beats a Cuban, but then people say that about French Wine and theres some great other stuff out there!
I was very kinda gifted a Sautter beginners cigar experience thing for my birthday earlier this year which I am doing in August which looks like good fun and you come away with a handful of decent cigars it seems as well!
Anyway enough yacking!
Dave
