    Hi,

First time trying a cigar a month ago (Acid), now I'm interested in learning a bit more about them and this forum seems like a pretty good place to start.

    Thanks for having me

No need for the thanks, you were delicious

... Also, welcome to the forum, and to the party. Be great to see how you progress on your journey through this tobacco world, and what sticks you grow to love!
Only the impossible is worth the effort.

Set myself up for that one paha!

      Thanks!
I've never smoked before though so not sure how well I will be able to differentiate the taste, either way I found it relaxing.

I only started smoking when i had my first cigar in December, and for all its only been 8 months i am certainly much better at differentiating flavours; though still no where near as many as some folks claim! I guess we have to keep practising and lighting up those sticks - it's a hard life!

But heck, if you're enjoying the flavours that you can find, and find the whole thing a relaxing mindful event - then i'd say you're onto a winner!

Oh that's pretty cool then! Haha I know! How many are you having per week?

          Happy days!

              A Rainbow of Flavors!

That's the spirit, chico. Focus on what you enjoy and let those more gifted do the work for us.

Besides, while there are some folks who have a uniques talent/palate for identifying the subtle shades of a puro, most don't and, in my opinion, just fake it...like me, for example.

Now don't get me wrong. There are times when I will sit back with a fine puro, a flavor wheel, and attempt to pick out the various flavors and changes as the puro progresses. Mostly, however, I prefer to just grab a stick and enjoy it without giving it too much thought. Besides....it's hard work!

              That's what I do, anyways.

Welcome! You've came to the right place for advice, the folks here have a lot of knowledge and are happy to share.
Samplers are the way to go for finding out what works and keep a little note book so you can revisit those and create a hit list. And avoid the mistakes of course.
