Welcome to UKCF....if you hang around long enough you'll be able to get pm privileges and arrange herfs in the area.

I loved the occasional cigar for several years but only picked it up properly as a hobby in the past two years. Nowadays, smoking a cigar is probably one of the most relaxing moments in my week. Some of my favourites are RyJ Petit Churchill, Monte Pascoal Robusto, Undercrown Belicoso, Nub Maduro, H. Upmann Corona and Hoyo Epicure 2. I love trying new flavours and sticks so I will be grateful for suggestions and I am looking forward reading reviews and opinions.

Only discovered UKCF recently and joined straight away. I'd love to know if anyone is aware of any cigar friendly places in the city. Additionally, I'd love to have a group meet-up with people around here and share ideas and recommendations over a cigar and a coffee or drink.
Welcome to the forum! It is great to see that more and more folks are cropping up from the North and i think we about have enough to have a herf in the near future! I am note sure about and B+M stores in leeds, though i think i read somewhere a greens? York is pretty dire for cigars, theirs an awful one called Choice select, and hotel Du Vin has a great cigar shack, but otherwise...

I have always fancied trying one of the Cigar tasting evenings at Gauntleys in Nottingham https://cigars.gauntleys.com/uk/offe...-meetings-2017 - perhaps a group of us could try one of the nights in the future!

                    Anyway welcome to the party

Indeed it is great to see the North represented and one of the reason I join the forum was to see if people around are interested in a herf. Leeds has plenty of BOTL but the only place I see them around is at Greens (which is a small store with a decent selection with a small walk-in as well as large glasstops by the counter). Leeds unfortunately lacks any indoors smoking places to my knowledge. Perhaps in the future we could organise something at York. The Nottingham idea also sounds great. I'd be even keen to arrange a weekend in London to meet the more experienced members of the group and have another pilgrimage to the stores there.
