Hello everybody,

I'm really pleased to have found this forum.

I've just started to smoke cigars.

I appreciated my first one yesterday, it was a Upmann Coronas Junior, Tubed. My local Tabocconist suggested it. Greens of Leeds, so kudos to them. It really was beautiful.

I hope to try many cigars now and I've been reading loads of stuff in relation to cigars from history to craft.

I think I will try a Trinidad Reyes next.

I'm looking forward to connecting and learning from everybody on here.

Do you all enjoy all cigars, or are you strictly one strain only?

i used to visit Greens fairly regularly in the past, it's about as good as it gets for tobacconists in the north from what I've found.

Another white rose joins the ranks

Great cigar to start with too, it's the first one i smoked, and i revisited it last month and still found great pleasure to be had from it!

The reyes will certainly be a marked comparison and i look forward to reading how you got on with it! I would also say that the majority of the forum tend to mix it up with their cigars; and certainly most are open to trying new things. There was an old video i saw a few months ago where James Suckling and Edward Sahakian both tried the other's preferred cigar, as well as their own - a kind of cigar dual if you will - the Reyes and the Petit Edmundo (another great smoke). The conclusion i feel backs up the importance of venturing outside of your own preferred smoke for both variety and appreciations sake.

Anyway, if you get 10 mins do check it out, its worth a watch listening to both of these great cigar fellows as they taste the cigars and mull over some cigar-isms:
