    Hi All,

New member here from the UK, based in West Mids. I've been on and off cigars for a while but decided to go at it full time.

Humidor is currently in the PO awaiting collection and I've a nice mix of machine rolled and Cuban ready to go into it.

All recommendations are welcomed on some nice smokes for me to sample

    Welcome to the forum.

Make sure you season the humidor before laying the sticks down.

Picked it up at 7am this morning (not that I was excited about it arriving lol). Seasoning now so it's ready when I get back from work.

            Hello and welcome buddy!

As people above are saying - I would resist the temptation to start stocking your humi too early/before it's fully seasoned. Better to ensure it's done right first time

              Welcome to the forum!

Looking forward to hearing how your journey go's - the smokes you've enjoyed/disliked, and how that humidor was overgrown very quickly....

Welcome onboard, be patient with the seasoning & you should be problem free to maintain afterwards.

Luckily those had arrived when I got home, they're sitting in there now and I've ordered a new digital hygrometer too

So far I've mainly gone for machine made and wrapped as they would be sitting around. My go to at the moment are the Henri Winterman Half Coronas and the Cohiba Shorts.

Hopefully I can get some recommendations for some Cubans and decent non-Cubans too. I've looked at the J Cortes orange but not seen anyone giving them a good review so all reviews are welcomed.

Thanks for the humidor advice too from everyone, a few places I looked at before buying one had said it can take 24 hours but check every 3 hours.
