    Hello, David and welcome!

Working in a cigar shop does indeed sound ace. Here's hoping you'll get a nice leaving present when you're away!

              Welcome!

Former (or maybe on hiatus) toxopholite and ex-archaeologist here!

I'm sure you know how things are here, having lurked a bit, but very glad to say hello.

I am also a lapsed archer, must've been a couple of years since I last shot. I will get back to it one day! What sort of archaeology?

A curious mixture of Viking and post-mediaeval death practices. With a little arch archaeology of swords and swordsmithing in there for interest. Though I noticed you're off you do classical archaeology - I did study Roman civic planning under Dominic Perring.

That all said, I've spent far too much time washing fish vertebrae (Vikings loved fish...who knew?!) for one lifetime.
