Hi everybody I am new to the forum and newish to the cigar world. Apologies if I was supposed to post this elsewhere but I couldn't find that place. Anyway I caught the bug recently on a Caribbean cruise where I bought a few smokes on some of the islands humidors, I wish I took advantage now after coming back home and seeing what they cost here. I also realise now why the Americans were smoking new world cigars. I have bought a few from an online retailer that I am comfortable with both quality and price until I go away again, luckily I do travel a fair bit so I know what to do now. I have mainly been smoking Cubans mild to full as we seem to have choices compared to some. The challenge though has been where to smoke as I can't smoke at home although I did find a very nice outdoor space in the west end of London so can't wait till it gets a bit warmer.

Hi Cass, Yep there is a Newbie forum (Admin please move). But welcome anyway! Quiet a few members have picked up the bug after visiting the Caribbean, just been there myself & it's great to smoke (almost) anywhere, easy of course in the nice weather. It is a real problem back in the UK from Nov to March but probably more smoking venues in London than anywhere else in the country. Sure you'll soon be able to hook up with some other members on a herf. Glad to hear you are trying mild to full flav, keep varying & your experience will soon gather.

                Welcome to the party Cass!

If you're anything like me, the bug will some become a ravaging passion...

I remember when I got my first humidor in December and thought the 50 cigar capacity will be plenty!

Needless to say I now have a few tupperdor's on the go as well, and when ever i log onto my online banking it's always a bit like

                But heck, it's worth it
