  • Good morning from Cheshire

Hi guys, Andrew here. I'm 50 and live in Cheshire. I thought I'd pop in and say hi

I smoked my first cigar on my 21st birthday with my dad and brother, and back then, cigars were a once-a-month thing for me, if that. As time went by, I became more passionate about cigars, and I've been a daily cigar smoker for around 25 years.

Im more of a new world cigars fan than a fan of Cubans. I've never been convinced that Cuban cigars live up to their hype as much as they could or should, although there are obviously some very enjoyable Cubans out there!

Im very fortunate to have a local cigar smoking buddy who is a flight attendant, and he often works on flights to America, so he often brings me back a box. Some of my favourite new world brands are LGC, Padron, Graycliffe, Asylum, Perdomo, Camacho and Room 101. When I can, I also go on holiday to America which I always enjoy because the selection of cigars is massive and the price is usually a fraction of what we pay in the UK, plus there's a much bigger cigar culture there than there is here

Im also a big fan of larger ring gauge cigars - 6x60 being my favourite.

Anyway, that's all from me for now. Have a smoke filled day, everyone

Welcome Andrew. Looking forward to hearing about your New world smokes as I've been pretty much exclusively Cubans.

                          Welcome,
I agree there are many new good cigars outside of Cuba, now you mention Asylum 6x60, which I tried the Asylum 13 lately and left good impression on me...

6x60 is impressive.... still smokable though, not like the INCH 7x70 or those horrendous that go up to 120....
                          52-42 its my favorite range.

                          Cheers,
