Hi all,

I'm Steve, i'm also new to the cigar world.

I'm not sure what else to put here. But hopefully I'll get to know you all over the coming weeks/months/years.

My uncle brought me back cigars from Spain and since then I've been hooked. (not addicted, I have no cravings just yet)

It's quite an expensive hobby, but enjoyable when you get something a bit different.

Alvaro Saludos - It's a Spanish cigar, cheap and cheerful. Considering the only cigar I ever had was a Hamlet before hand they seemed nice.

At the moment I have only really sampled the cheaper cigars. I think so far the Villiger no.7 has been the nicest smoke. But I'm working my way through and working my way up.

Any suggestions of a decent smoke without costing the earth is very much welcomed.

Everyone ssys its expensive, and it can be, but it isn't any worse than catching photography or audiophilia or even travel. Though the first two you tend not to burn your collection of gubbins over time! As a person in photographic remission (I will *not* buy another lens), I can say that the folks here are thoroughly pleasant, generous with experience and information (and actual smokes when you hit the right level, it would seem...fingers crossed ;-)), and fun loving.

They say "smoke better and smoke less", and one learns that; but also that there are cheap and cheerful sticks that at the right time and place, are the bees knees!

I hope you enjoy your journey of discovery.

That's one of the best things about smoking cigars there so.much choice to work through..

A few Cubans I could recommend are the Roman Allones Small Club Conronas, San Cristobal EL Principe and a Partagas short and Serie D.. a few of my favours and don't cost too much when going abroad.
