  • Direction of travel...

So, it's taken me nigh-on 50 years to find cigars (along with fly fishing and Jags) but I have! I'm gradually building-up my advancement through the strengths (which I think is the best way). My current 'go to' is a Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto, but I'm also enjoying the Trinidad Reyes. My question to you more experienced types - is there a petit robusto or, indeed, a robusto which is akin to the flavour of the Reyes? Thanks. Chris

Hello and welcome, have you tried the Trinidad Vigia?

        Welcome Chris!

Would second the recommendation for some other Trinidad vitolas if you enjoy the Reyes. Otherwise keep working your way through the brands/sizes. I'm sure you'll end up with plenty of favourites!

              Welcome!

I'm sorry to say I've never had a Trini Reyes (a shocking oversight), but I definitely concur on the HdM Petit Robusto being a super "go to" smoke

                          Welcome to UKCF!

Trinis have a somewhat particular flavour, so in the Petit Robusto vitola, with similar flavours, the Vigia would also be my recommendation.

Hi Chris. The Montecristo Petit Edmundo is a great petit robusto in my opinion.
