Hi everyone my name is Rob and I'm from Plymouth.
I have been into cigars for about 8 years now smoking very occasionally no more than 6 cigars a year possibly more when I first started out. Basically in moderation.
I started out trying cafe creme my father in law was having and being someone who still to this day hates cigarettes found the aroma and taste nice, and so I tried a few of the supermarket brands from Henri Wintermans (far too harsh) in fact to this day the only machine made supermarket cigar I can stand are Mehari Sweet Orient, if you take your time the harshness present in all supermarket cigars isn't present and it maintains a lovely aroma and slightly sweet flavour.
I then tried King Edwards both Invincible and Imperial the Imperial are a very smooth and mild smoke the Invincible have that artificial sweetness and I find both OK..ish however I eventually decided to try a Cuban the first being a Romeyo Julieta N02 wow what an awakening since then if I am to have a cigar it will have to be a hand made cigar.
Over the eight years I've tried a Few Cuban by two favourite being the Romeyo Julieta N02 and the H.Upman Junior Corona, however it has been with handmade Non Cubans I have settled on over the last few years my first being a Don Ramos Churchill to very recently purchasing some hand made Leon Jimnes petit Corona and a tin of Juliany cigars.
I will be looking to post some reviews shortly on cigars I have tried.
