hello guys, been here a week or so and forgot to say hello, how rude of me, apologies.
only been into cigars for a month and a bit, I like to research stuff and collect things and really enjoyed the smokes I bought for a wedding in beginning of feb (cohiba lanceros) so thought id get a humidor to keep a stash for special occasions/sit on some to age.
I have smoked cigs since I was 16 and gave up for a year about 18 months ago by moving to E-cigs but I broke my charger in Burkina Faso when the proverbial was hitting the fan and just went and bought some more cigs, been smoking them ever since but instead of 40 a day like I was at one point only about 2 in the day and mabe about 4 at night, ive replaced the night smokes with Cigars now and plan to ditch the cigs altogether.
I waited patiently for 2 weeks for the bovida seasoning packs to season it then learned in between i'd need 2 humidors as its not the done thing to store CC with NC (or other cigars) so now I have 2, one for cuban one for everything else, both just small 100 count.
so since the humidors have both been seasoned, a few spare digital hygrometers calibrated and installed I went a bit mad and so far have bought about 65 cigars, unsure why but i've got a lot of cohibas now, even though i've only smoked 3 different ones (not including the mini's and clubs) and bought 2 boxes, the LE 2014 supremos and the maduro 5's in secretos and a range of singles im about 50% cohiba, but im looking to sit on a few of each cuban brand eventually, a trip to mauritius with a stop over in Dubai in 2 weeks will see me maxing out the families individual tobacco import allowance (i'm the only one who smokes out of 5 of us going) i might get a tupperdore in preperation . . . . . .
anyways thanks for letting me be part of the group I look forward to exploring as many different cigars as I can and building up a nice little collection.
