  • Good evening!

    Evening, all!

Firstly - many thanks to those who provided guidance and reassurance with my recent Caribbean purchase! I am very much a cigar novice, having been introduced to them after a rather formal dinner where to decline would have felt oddly rude. The fact that I avoided turning green was apparently a mark in my favour!

Cigars will, I suspect, remain an "occasional" treat for me, but I look forward to working my way round some of the suggestions made here.

    Regards,

    The Traveller

Welcome to the UKCF Traveller. I can't remember what you were doing with your cigars, but have you the means or something to store them in?

Yes, thanks. Acquired a 50 cigar Humidoro. Not convinced the hygrometer works or can be adjusted, so am relying on the humidifer beads to work properly until a digital hygrometer arrives in the next few days.

I was a bit fast of the mark and ordered the humidor before reading of alternatives such as the "Tupperdo", but one lives and learns!

You need a humidor...A scubador is a good back up for boxes etc. Start with singles and work up
