I have also been a frequent visitor to this site over the last number of years and have also decided to get more involved.
Great choice of cigars, Padron and Oliva V are definately 2 of the best Nicaraguan (and New World) brands out there at this moment.

?These gentlemen (3 Friars at Nicaragua) gave us some seegars to smoke..these are leaves of tobacco rolled up in such manner that they serve both for a pipe and tobacco itself..they know no other way here, for there is no such thing as a tobacco-pipe throughout New Spain?. Cockburn, John (1735)
?A Journey Over Land, from the Gulf of Honduras to the Great South-Sea? London: C.Rivington, 1735. - First reference to a cigar in the English language.
Danny, I think Nicaraguan cigars are up there with the best in the world just now. Liga Privada is also a great brand that I've tried. Do you recommend any others? I was thinking about trying My Father next.
