Hi all, thanks for all the welcomes, hope to stick around,

While in Cuba we stayed at the 'Blau Costa Verde plus in Holguin' although not a great area for cigar choices the hotel had a small selection, and just up the road was a small shop with a small walk in humidor, went twice to check out the stock (which took a while with my limited knowledge) second visit they had re-stocked and had a decent selection of Cohiba, Hoya, RyJ, Partagas, and Montecristo, Punch And H upmann.
Ended up buying mainly packs of tubos,(need to buy cheap but decent humidor) any help greatly received...
The guy in the shop was very helpful and patient let Me check out all cigars and gave advise when needed, they had a few full box's dated 2011,2012,2013 so got a few singles as well from these new box's
loved Cuba so hope to be going back next year this time to Havana the people are lovely and very welcoming I would recommend anyone to go....
Did the Holguin factory tour while there but could only see the de-veining and rolling rooms, other rooms were closed to the tour (counterfeiting) apparently. Loved the sweet smell coming from the factory as we approached.

Right I'm starting to babble on, so will stop there for now.

Waffle away SF. I don't think anyone will complain about any stories or anecdotes from a trip over to the island

I'm exactly the same, went to Cuba smoked some nice cigars joined here and I'm a wineador, a scubador, 3 jars (plus three killers full of tubos) and 3 humidors.

Welcome to the forum mate! Lots of useful info and good people here!
