Hello UKCF!
I suppose I'll start of with the basics, eh?
I'm Rob, 32 and from Dundee in Scotland (A small village a few miles north actually, but we wont split hairs). I'm married, I have a child and a baby on the way.
I'm relatively new to cigars, however given the traits of my personality, it's fast becoming another past time. Much to the despair of my wife of course. This new "hobby" follows in the footsteps of my sports cars, watches and of course my whisky. I love a dram!! the whisky is actually what's lead me here.
After years of being quite anti-tobacco, I felt myself being curious about the joy of a good dram complemented by a fine cigar. Fast forward 6 months and I am now considering my first humidor. During this time I've enjoyed some really nice smoke including the usual beginner selections. Short Churchill's from RyJ, Epicure Especisal's from Hoyo de Monterrey, Cohiba's and, the best so far IMO being a Montecristo #5. I've been lurking in the background for a few weeks but felt it time to register and really get into the depths.
Thanks for having me,
Rob
