  • Hi from the midlands

Hi all, im Jim and very recently wondered into the world of cigars.

After smoking a few whilst in the states a few years ago and quite enjoying it, I felt buying some now was a good idea

I smoked my first yesterday and it was an Inka red Tres petit corona and was almost my last lol didn't enjoy it one bit and was left thinking 'that it?' and only 6 left in my Inka sampler pack to enjoy!

So after going to work I read through the forums and what I experienced was pretty common. So today I thought I'd give it another go and had the the single Regius Robustos that I'd ordered just to get free delivery and with a cup of coffee iv had a relaxed afternoon in the garden and my enthusiasm for cigars is back!

Won't try to describe it as at the moment I'd make a hash of it but I enjoyed it a lot!

    Cheers Jim

        Welcome to the forum

I'm not the biggest fan of Inkas either, have you thought about making a foray into Cubans?

          Hello and
Step away from the inkas! Or they'll put you off forever, as they nearly did for me.....

Welcome along, IMHO Inka cigars are awful and I wouldn't buy them. However I hear good things about the Regius. Try some small cuban cigars they will change your view. I'd go with a Bolivar Peti Corona, RyJ Short Churchill, ERDM Demi Tasse and Por Laranga Peti Corona.
Have a sniff of those and see what you think.

                Thanks for the welcome,

From the above advice I will now be heading down the cuban route for my next purchase along with a humidor, just from the Inka to Regius the difference was night and day so from whats been said im excited for the first cuban!

Peejay- As a kid and my bad reaction to E numbers I was THE evil twin lol but now Im mostly the good twin haha

                      Welcome Jim!

Some good Cuban suggestions from Pandyboy there. I'd throw in the Ramone Allones Small Club Corona and the Rafael Gonzalez Perla as possible considerations too. Not too expensive and lovely little cigars.
