Hello from the South West

Hello all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Graham (as you might have gathered from the handle) and I live in Plymouth in the Uk. I'm 27 and am still in my learning curve when it comes to cigars

My first experience with a cigar wasn't as joyous as id hoped but that was a factory Hamlet when I was 17. It wasn't until I tasted some amazing Cubans that I have become addicted.

I have been recommended to come here through another international forum I frequently visit (same username on that one too!). I only have one or two friends that are interested in cigars and so I would very much like to get to know some people from the forum, get around a bit and hopefully attend a few herfs and get to know a few more cigar smokers.

My current collection is growing fast. I am in the middle of setting up a smallish Coolidor for boxes (hopefully the last of the equipment should be arriving today) and I have a large desktop humidor (will try and get some pictures up here once it's all done!)

Thank you for the welcome! I'm only on one other forum and have been there for around 6 months - they are a great bunch of people and that's where the recommendation came from so I have no complaints of any other forum.

It sounds like you are starting off well with a coolerdor, have you got a decent stock of cigars already or are you waiting for the cooler to be up and running first?

It sounds like you are starting off well with a coolerdor, have you got a decent stock of cigars already or are you waiting for the cooler to be up and running first?

I've seen some mega stocks so mine pales in comparison (but it's pretty good by my standards). The following boxes make up my current stock (with only one or two smoked from each so far) and a couple of singles thrown in
- Partagas 8-9-8 (25)
- Partagas Lusitania (25)
- Bolivar Petit Corona (25)
- Cohiba Siglo IV (25)
- La Flor De Cano Grandiosos Regional (10)

The problem was that I unboxed them and put them in my Humidor (120ct) but jammed so much in probably alongside too much humidification solution that I started to get a few spots of white mould. So I've reduced the humidity and will be cleaning down and re-boxing most of those and putting the boxes in the Cooler. The Humidor can then have a small selection of each whilst the rest sit comfortably. Of course, I can't complain about the extra storage space as since I made this decision I made another order and I have on their way...

- HDM Epicure No. 2 (25)

Some great smokes there, I would have probably gone with the Siglo VI as well.
