Secretos are great little pocket rockets when they're on...
I remember my first. Perfect, with a strong black coffee to complement.
You can see it went down well! :

They're good little cigars for me too. A little sharp edge but good. I'd like to smoke some with old age on them, I have a feeling they would be super.

Welcome! ?25 IMO will get you some elite level cigars.

Dont forget the small cigars too though!

some of my favourite cigars are NC, not because they are better than CC but simply because I like them.

when I started my cigar obsession I tried a lot of NC and a lot of CC. I now prefer to buy more CC and still try occasional NC.

I quite literally couldn't agree more!

Hi an' Welcome Bigsy, enjoy the Forum.

With a budget of ?50pw you should be able to do yourself some pleasurable damage and in time you'll learn that ?60 might get you x25 Quintero Favouritos, but hey, that's for the future.

A little rule of thumb .... if it's cheap, non-Cuban and over here it's the cigar equivalent of Meths .... start as you would mean to finish, choose a size that you think will suit you (I would suggest Petit Coronas initially) and work through the Cuban brands, you won't bust your wallet and you will get an idea to the different brand profiles, once you've found the ones you like most try a few different sizes within the brand .... your knowledge will increase exponentially and in a year or two you'll be running around chasing vintage and deleted cigars along with the best of them.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

                Hi.. Thanks

I went down to Robert Graham and got my first few Cigars on Friday.

I went for the Chinchalero and Cohiba Secretos..

2 ends of the price scale and I must say I enjoyed them both very much, for a cheapo Cigar I found the only thing I could fault the Chinch for was a very uneven burn but it was a nice smoke, although clearly the Secretos was nicer.
I will stick to my plan and my promise I made to the family and not smoke all the time, so I am looking forward to next weekend now and trying something different.

A nice weekend catching up with some Family and tried some of my cousins Punch Coronation too, (wasn't that impressed) could have been poorly stored and neglected though knowing him.
