No doubt...but the question's still valid Chico, since there are "no silly questions!"

BTW, in accordance with comedy 101, you should have stopped with the first comment, "there are only silly people BAM!!"

Get In! Get Out! BAM! ..,..Well, that's what your girfriend would say...IF YOU HAD ONE!

Here chico, let me help out...check out mi amigo senor JC

            Hi Budgie Smuggler and welcome.

            PeeJay, check this out!

Amazon screwed up my lock n lock order! That means that my newest purchases have nowhere to go. Amazon say they're sending another which will take a few days! I'm annoyed because the first thing my new purchases will need after their postal adventures is to be put straight in the tupperdor to rehydrate. I've not got any Boveda's so I've had to cling wrap the box while I wait for my tupperdor.
I'm also wondering if all my booty will fit in the 12l lock n lock? I was going to store everything in the original boxes and keep the desktop humi for singles. I'm now pretty sure I need two new tupperdors so hopefully the lost one will also arrive soon. Do you know what fits in the 12l L&L box? I need space for the following:
            25 Cohiba Secretos
            10 Partagas SC LE
            50 Refael Gonzalez Cigarritos
            9 Partagas Culebras
            10 Cohiba Behike 52's
That lot won't fit will it? I think I've over ordered this month, having a tad of buyers remorse. [emoji20]

Wow, thanks for all of the replies.

I've already purchased a 100 ct humi (complete with dud hygro but that's another story).

What's the consensus on the importance of the seal?

I've placed a torch inside and can see a small amount if light, should it be totally airtight?

                Quality Seal!

Good question, chico. Although I rarely use static-type desktop humidors anymore, a good test for determining the quality of the seal, as I recall, is to place a bill (dollar, pound, peso) between the the lid and the box (closed, of course) and slowly pull it out. If it pulls out easily, the seal is too loose. If it is difficult or won't pull out, it's too tight. But, if you can withdraw the bill with a wee bit of resistance, the seal is correct.

Another test I recall was to lift the lid and let it drop closed. If it slams shut the seal is too loose, but if a puff of air escapes as it gently closes, the seal is good.

Well, seeing as the lip inside is raised and the gap is very slight I'll stick with it as it will probably close even further once humidified.

Purchased and currently sat in Tupperware with a Boveda pouch are:

                    Le Hoyo du Depute
Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 4
                    2 x Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos
                    Rafael Gonzalez Perla
                    Cohiba Exquisitos
El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme
                    Trinidad Reyes
Saint Luis Rey Serie A - Cabinet Selection
                    Montecristo No. 4
Quai D'Orsay Coronas Orchant Selection Cigar
                    Oliva Serie V Melanio Robusto

There was also an Upmann Petit Corona tubo but that mysteriously combusted last night

Some very respectable choices, you've done some homework methinks. Have you also tried the Serie G? Good as well IMO.

                            Thanks everyone.

Tommy - I've not tried the G yet, but as I need to buy a new hygro (thinking digital but not sure which one) and some beads I may possibly be tempted to have them slip one into the parcel...

Good idea, you could just use some Boveda pouches, digital would be nice but that's cigar money. A lot of us prefer to spend our money on cigars and keep them I lock & lock tupperdors. A hydrometer is quite important though. I use a cheap one but most people don't agree with that as they aren't very accurate.
In truth if you think you can control your spending then get a nice setup for your 100 count humi. You may find that you out grow it though in which case Tupperware is a good option. Its a lot to think about but it's not life of death, it's what they call "a new world problem" lol. Enjoy, when you get PM's it gets more fun.

Boveda is the way forward (ask Marc) I've got a Calibre III hygro, can't fault it but it doesn't fall into the category of cheap so I'm sure someone will suggest one [emoji4]
