Welcome aboard Nigel! Seems like you've found home - cigars and homebrewing, both very popular amongst the UKCF brethren. Glad you enjoyed the proper cigar most of all. My top tip is to just keep trying lots of different cigars (different brands, sizes etc etc). And don't by a humidor... you'll very quickly fill it, then buy another, then fill that one... It becomes jolly expensive.

If you ever make a large amount of bad wine you can come to mine to make it into wonderful Au De Vit, the water if life. It's actually nice unaged, because the still is so basic the spirit retains more of the characteristics of the mash or wine you use. I used a rhubarb wine that wasn't good and it was lovely. I'm gonna get a 15ltr oak barrel with a dark char inside. I'll them age some red wine in it for a year and reuse it to make some brandy. It's a long process but the process is half the fun of it. If anyone has a spare oak barrel going begging....
I also have my eyes on some oak barrels too and a fruit press/apple scratter combo.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14
