If you do come back from America bring some of the harder to get sticks back, Drew Estate, Foundry, La Sirena and the like.

Searsa1 (Aaron) is probably one of the most knowledgeable members we have re-the American market cigars, before you go I would get in touch with him and see what he recommends. Given that he lives over there and attends lots of industry herf's etc, he gets to try a lot of stuff and see other peoples reactions first hand too..

Little update, popped into town earlier to have a butchers at a supposed cigars.co.UK seller. Sure enough they had a walk in humidor, I didn't venture in but got a cheap jet butane lighter for ?3 which will hopefully help vs. Matches which I found too difficult to light with.

I still prefer using matches to butane lighters, if you get the cooks matches you can usually light a cigar with one match which is nice.

In most tobacconist I have used you get a free set of match with your purchase - I now have quite a collection of H&F matches as I use my lighter (I like the idea of using matches, but lighters are just so much easier )

Welcome to the forum ! Where are you based? I live in Barnsley, but was based at RAF Digby for 5 years (even though I was in the Royal Navy!) I still go each month as my reserve unit is based there.
