  • Hi from High Wycombe!

    Hello All,
been drifting in and out of cigars over many years, since I stopped cigarettes in 2000!
Just got myself a few cigars for this Christmas, some Robustos and half Coronas (Cuban and Philipines origin).
Pity that cigar smokers ar few and far between, seems we are mainly reduced to smoking in the garden, subject to weather conditions!
It used to be that at many family and other social gatherings the cigars would be lit at some stage but this is becoming rare these days.
Anyway, I enjoy the odd one, and the discussions on here.
    Klaus

Welcome! I would love to go back to a time when the men retreated for a smoke after dinner.

Welcome onboard Klaus! I guess the men still retire after dinner for a smoke but these days they have to retreat to the garden in summer & if they are lucky the garage in winter.

Hi there, must watch out for smoke signals!
I assume there are no proper tobacconists in the area. Like to look at displays but most shops with any kind of cigars on offer have everything covered (supermarkets).

Havana house in Windsor is where I go for my singles etc. the guys in there are really good people that have a vast knowledge! When I first started out many years ago, they taught me so much.

I dont on they over there as much as I would like to now due to work and stuff.

There is also a wine seller in beaconsfield old town that keeps a couple of sticks in stock.
