  • Mark - London, evening chaps!

    Evening chaps.
Just a quick introduction, I've smoked cigars on and off for the last 5 years or so but in the last year I have just become obsessed with everything to do with them.
I'll be honest I'm not the best at remembering the specific names of cigars, but am now making notes on most things I smoke.
I used to smoke a lot of Tusconellos as my Mrs is from Italy and they are cheap over there, but the last year I've been taking trips to JJ fox's getting some advice and enjoying a smoke in their sampling lounge.

I'll add a few pics of things I've had lately.

I live in Morden and would like to make some cigar buddy friends if there are any that live quite near me.
I'm looking forward to reading the best/cheapest places to order smokes etc.

Anyway, I'll stop waffling, Happy Friday evening!

Welcome to the forum Mark! I live in Essex so not particularly close but maybe we'll run into each other in JJ Foxes one day!

One word of warning though - be careful about discussing non UK sources!

Thanks chaps....I'm being a bit simple here, I didn't realise there was an issue with ordering from abroad.

          I've edited that part out.

Sheppsea.....Essex not a million miles away mate, by the way I checked your blog out and saved in faves.

Thanks again guys....look forward to learning more from you guys.

Depends where you fancy. Hyde park corner - lanesborough or the Wellesley. No10 Manchester street or the Montague are also some of my favourites..

Reading that I just realised that the Montague is literally two minutes from where I work, I walk past it everyday! I can't believe I've never made the connection before

Quite regularly in there. BYOC and drinks aren't silly

I'm not sure on acronyms but am I right in saying BYOC is 'bring your own cigars'? That would make it even more desirable (although I saw there is a minimum ?25 spend for non-guests anyway so as an (almost) tee totaller I would probably need to buy one anyway!
