Hi from Norwich!

Hi all

My name's Dan and I'm from Norwich. I only started smoking this year, which one of my good friends introduced me to and I'm fascinated by it and am hooked already! I just got my first humidor and am working on getting it full when funds allow. I'm pretty lucky in that whilst I can only get cigars from one place in Norwich, they have a great selection and we're pretty spoiled for great cubans at a reasonable price.

My very first cigar was a Punch Coronation, then an Oliva Series V. Next was a Montecristo Petit Edmundo at a wedding, which to date has been absolute favourite. Since then I've tried an Upmann Coronas Major, Bolivar No. 1, Romeo Y Julieta No.2 and an unbranded Petit Corona (which wasn't great). My last smoke was a Bolivar No.3 which I really enjoyed too.

Anyway just wanted to say hi, and I look forward to learning a lot. Please say hello and tell me what you can get in your part of the UK?

Welcome Dan! Belfast is pretty much like Norwich in that there's one place with a decent select of Cubans and non-Cubans, although not necessarily the reasonable prices. Anyway good to have you here.

Yeah I know what you mean, I used to have that problem, although a worse one is just sitting on you backside ordering them over the Internet too easy!

I'm from Essex and don't have a big selection close to home, although I work in London so have easy access to a number of cigar shops with a big selection! 😀

Hi Dave - alas Churchills closed a few years ago, which was a shame. The only tobacconist in the city now is 'Cigs N Papers' but like I say they have a great selection for what is basically a newsagents! They stock cigarette and pipe tobacco too in all sorts of flavours. The humidor they have in there is about the size of a fridge and it's where I get all my Cubans from.
