There seems to be a rush of us at the moment so here goes another. I smoked my first cigar in Cuba in 2007 and it gave me a headache so I dropped the idea. We went back there again last year and I got into smoking Quintero Puritos then moved on to RyJ no 2s. It really took off when I discovered the Tabac shops in Majorca in June where I could get decent cigars for about half the UK price, I ordered my humidor online from Majorca! My wife says its now an obsession just because I bought a nice lighter, ashtray, tee shirt etc, what do they know? At the moment I'm smoking as much variety as I can and discovering that Cuba isn't the be all and end all of cigars. I prefer a smooth creamy cigar and leading the pack at the moment is Rocky Patel The Edge Lite and La Aurora Principes Maduro. I write a food blog and review prolifically on Amazon and Tripadvisor (boring old fart) so expect to see me regularly. Great to be here and recommendations always welcome.
