Hi everyone,
Just registered so thought I'd say hello and give a little info on my smoking background. I've been smoking cigars on and off for about seven to eight years and have occasionally made the mistake of having a few cigarettes (blarg!) Most of the cigars I've smoked are Cubans, some non-Cubans but I've not previously looked to develop my palette or age cigars seriously, both of which I'm planning on doing now.
In terms of previous smokes that I can remember (in no particular order):
Montecristo no 2
montecristo no 4
montecristo no 5
montecristo petit tubos
montecristo joyitas
montecristo minis
hoyo de Monterrey petit robustos
r&j no 1 tubos
r&j no 2 tubos
r&j Churchill
h upmann coronas major tubos (this was my first ever cigar back in about 2005)
h upmann no 2
cohiba Siglo II tubos
Vegafina petit coronas
There are a few others that I know I'm forgetting. Most of the cigars I've smoked we're bought in Spain rather than being EMS cigars, simply because I lived in Madrid for a while and because cigars are a lot cheaper there than here!
I recently invested in a new Adorini humidor with c.100 ct capacity so that I can start collecting and ageing some cigars. First batch to arrive is one each of the following to sample then I'll pick one to have at my wedding next year:
Cohiba robustos
r&j wide Churchill
Hoyo epicure no 2
El rey del Mundo choix supreme
