The hygrometer is now calibrated (after 24 hours with the salt test it was reading 74%), and the humidor seems to be seasoned (the hygrometer has been in there for a couple of hours and is reading 70% humidity), so if it's still at that level this evening I'll be able to put the few cigars I have in there.
Problem is I've already thought about what I want to order next and I've also started thinking that I need some heating on the patio - it isn't too bad standing outside for a couple of minutes having a cigarette, but enjoying a cigar isn't easy when it's 2C!
Plus I've been invited to meet some mates at the cigar terrace at 10 Manchester Street next Wednesday - I can see this is going to get expensive!
