A quick hello from the North West

Hi Gents

Been lurking for a week or two now, and with the arrival of a few smokes today I thought I'd take the time to say a quick hello to the UKCF community!
Pretty new to the game, I had a great cigar down in Edinburgh late last summer during the Fringe/Tattoo, went very well with a (few) single malts! - Since then I'd been weighing up buying afew, but didn't press the button until Christmas when I bought a humi, and a couple of smokes to put in it.

The current stash is fairly small - but you have to start somewhere! Look forward to sharing the journey with you,

Dan - I'm about halfway between Manchester and Liverpool, Whereabouts in North Wales are you? I've not been over that way for awhile, last time me and the missus ventured over we stayed in Bala for a weekend and had an abolutely stunning meal at Tyddn Llan in Llandrilo! One of the few places I would ever go back to without hesitation!

Hello and welcome. Be careful about the 'gents' bit as there are several members of the fair sex active on the Forum. I'm quite new here myself and the crowd seem pretty well OK - plenty of eccentrics, of course, which adds spice to life. That's a pretty good stash you've got - enjoy !

I'm in Colwyn bay (about 45 miles from Chester). Might be moving to Edinburgh soon for a job though.

Thanks Donkey and Dave - and yes, that was possibly short sighted of me - should have realised that the fairer sex no doubt have an interest too! My better half always seems to hover when I light a cuban, how can you have a ritual when someone's trying to steal the damned thing off of you! I probably shouldn't complain though as the Palio cutter, SLR Churchill, Monte#2, partegas short and 3 other sticks were gifted to me this very morning by the lovely lady in question!

Daniel just saw your reply after i posted this, and I assume double posting is frowned upon - Personally, I love edinburgh and would move there in a heartbeat! you lucky devil!
